"Can’t fault most of the hospital"

About: Darent Valley Hospital / Accident and emergency

My daughter in law was recently admitted with a suspected stroke. It was disturbing she was given medication that she was subsequently told she shouldn’t have been given. I found some of the staff on the ward very flippant. They were standing (4 of them) round the corner obviously waiting for the nod to be able to go home for at least 15 minutes hugging each other, making jokes and basically not doing anything at all. Other than one nurse who took her blood pressure and a doctor who briefly popped in she didn’t see anyone else at all that evening !

Car parking was beyond a joke disabled car park was full of cars and white transit vans none of which had disabled badges or who had paid the minimal £1.50 parking charge
