"Unacceptable wait"

About: Basildon University Hospital / Gynaecology

Arrived at ward, confirmed with staff that we had arrived and booked in. Also confirmed that notes were here.

Was told to wait in waiting area.

Waited 2 and half hours with no update guidance or information. We were dehydrated and without food over lunchtime period.

After waiting this length of time, asked how much longer the wait to discover they weren't sure we were here and they couldn't find notes.

After a further 30mims finally seen and duly informed to come back for scan next day.

Not impressed or happy to have waited 3 hours to be told next day to have a scan
