"Scaphoid repair at Hand Trauma Unit"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Hand Trauma service

(as a service user),

I was in for a repair to my scaphoid bone following a mountain biking accident. I just want to compliment the whole department. From the nurses who admitted me and put me at ease, thank you very much. I was pretty apprehensive and nervous but your humour helped me to relax. To the anaesthetist who helped keep me pain free and had good chat, thank you. To my surgeon. Hopefully your work will help me heal. Can't compliment the department well enough. They were so professional and I was amazed at how quick and smoothly everything went. Sorry I don't remember specific names but pass on my thanks to those involved.

The NHS is amazing and we are so lucky to have it!
