"Lack of information with regard to patients."

About: North Shore Surgery

To register my disatisfaction on lack of comunication between the practice and self.Last Thurs.(08/11/2018) with only a few Sitaglyptin tablets left, I phoned the practice to request a repeat prescription and was informed that the request would be submitted. When no tablets where forthcoming, I rang again, this time on Thurs.(15/11/2018) and was told that a request for the tablets would be requested and marked as urgent. Todays date is 15/11/2018 and still no tablets !!!

My wife called at the pharmacy this morning to check on any progress, but was told that nothing was available and they would have to contact the practice !!! She was given a letter addressed to myself dated (14/11/2018) stating that the Sitaglyptin was being replaced with another Glyptin. So had she not called on the Chemist today, then who knows when I would have got the letter !!!

It is now a week since I originally phoned for a repeat prescription and been without them since taking the last one last Mon.

About three or four weeks ago I received a delivery of Calcichew, which was a complete surprise to me and on the following Mon, I received another delivery of Calcium Carbonate tablets, neither of this medication was expected, as I had no knowledge that they had been prescribed for myself !!! This lack of consideration, has left me thoroughly dissapointed with this practice.
