"Cataract Surgery"

Only last week did I learn that the Bodmin NHS Treatment Centre has been closed. I was very disappointed as I had both my eyes treated for cataracts there with excellent results. The care of all the staff there was exemplary - friendly, efficient and highly effective. I would also like to point out that one eye was done by a Spanish surgeon and the other by a Greek surgeon - people we can ill afford to lose. My partner is now due to receive similar treatment and she was devastated to hear of the centre's closure as she was hoping that she would be treated in the said facility. Can I urge the powers that be to do all they can to reopen this excellent centre as it is one we can ill afford to lose in this locality.
