"Ignore all the doom and gloom - my Dad received..."

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Accident and emergency

My Dad was rushed into the A & E department of Leicester royal infirmary for a suspected TIA .

I arrived at this hospital approx 10mins after the ambulance and was kindly directed to the ward he was on . Already he had been given a bed and was being looked after by all the team . We were all offered a cup of tea and sandwich for my dad . The place was fantastic very clean and organised far better than my experience here six years ago - keep up the good work the public (some) do appreciate it ! The doctor was very thorough and talked and explained what’s was going to happen over the next couple of weeks . My dad was then seen a few days later at the TIA clinic which again was amazing and is now home and fully recovered - Thankyou all.
