"Very very dissatisfied with student/ trainee?!!"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital / Ophthalmology

I came to see a doctor on 14/11/2018 and became very upset because of my condition. There were a couple of what I can only assume were students or trainee doctors. One of them made a very hurtful comment towards me and my my mum which I will never ever forget. We were concerned about having to travel back to Sheffield again and she jumped in and interrupted the consultant and said ‘well if anything we are incurring more costs to see you again!’. This was completely out of context and very hurtful to a family who have paid tax our entire lives and never claimed any benefits. I will never forget this comment as it upset both of us so much. I can only hope on our return that we are not met with her again as she seems to have a truly nasty character. But that being said I do want to thank all the wonderful nurses and the doctor. The nurses were being kind and caring so I do not want this negative review to be a reflection on them as they were great. I am grateful for what the doctor did for me I only hope he has better staff sitting in with him next time.
