I took my neighbour to Opthalmology Casualty on Friday 2nd November and despite our VERY long wait, our treatment could not be faulted.
We were both treated with respect & all the staff we came into contact with were empathic, gentle and caring.
The doctor was thorough in his examination. another doctor who then took over, could not have been more delightful in every aspect of his care.
A health care assistant & technician went out of their way to be helpful.
When we were the only people left in the department, a nurse & another health care assistant (can't remember her name) stayed with us chatting & carrying out the necessary procedures to enable my neighbour's admission to Ward 32.
A huge thank you to you all. A credit to the much-maligned NHS.
"Wonderful sensitive & gentle care"
