(as the patient),

The nurses I met in Ward 4 and 16 were all very hard working and the care was excellent. They were very friendly and the same could be applied to the cleaning staff and the people who brought round teas and coffee.

The bed I was in was not very comfortable.

Dear Wiillis,

Thank you so much for taking the time to feedback about your experiences in Ward 4 and Ward 16. I'm so glad that your care was of a high standard and I love the fact that you mentioned our domestic staff who far too often are our unsung heros, providing comfort, laughs and sometimes a well needed listening ear to patients as they make their way through the wards.

I'm sorry that your bed was uncomfortable. Did you mention it to the nursing staff? Perhaps we could have changed it to a different one? Regardless, I apologise that it was not comfortable as sleep is clearly a key component in recovery.

I will forward your kind words to the staff in wds 4 and 16 and to the domestic team.
