"had an infection after minor surgery"

I went to dermatology for minor surgery on the side of my face but left with an infection! as by the end of the day my eye was swollen and the whole area was too painful to touch that my stitches couldn’t be removed a week later and after taking antibiotics my stitches weren’t holding anything and there was a big gaping hole in the side of my face which I’ve been told will never properly heal.   After showing the consultant the photos from over the six weeks wound treatment at my gp’s. I was told this was normal! ! (Not according to the nurse at my gp surgery it’s not). One of the instruments accidentally rolled on the floor during the surgery so not sure if that caused the infection.   It’s the last time I’ll choose that hospital.
