I attended the minor injuries clinic having caught my finger on a rusty nail at home and sustaining a small cut, which had swelled slightly overnight.
I was quickly booked in by the pleasant lady on reception, and seen by the friendly triage nurse within 2 minutes of sitting down.
I was asked a series of questions and offered pain relief before the nurse took my temperature and did an examination of my finger.
After the triage examination I was asked to take a seat and waited around 15 minutes before being seen by a nurse, who did a more thorough examination before agreeing with me that my finger needed dressing and I needed a tetanus booster.
I waiting a couple of minutes before the nurse returned with the booster (quickly administered) and a dressing (applied with care).
I left with a card confirming the date of my tetanus booster, having spent less than 30 minutes in total in the minor injuries unit.
Fantastic service, friendly and efficient staff - couldn't have asked for better.
"Quick, friendly and efficient"
