I am shocked at the service at this practice!! Firstly the telephone system is archaic to say the least, waiting for what seems an eternity to get an answer to be then told the next available appointment is in 2 weeks! Unfortunately I don't pre book my illnesses to get an appointment!! I went for a scan after going to A&E with severe pains around my kidneys and told to make an appointment with my GP to get the results, after visiting the GP I was told I have a cyst on one of my kidneys and it is fine, I beg to differ as I am still in pain and not advised of any further action or choices available to me, second visit was to discuss swelling on my liver/stomach area and the pain still present on my lower torso going on since August, so off to the ultra sound clinic again, they said please call to make an appointment with your GP to discuss the results.........light at the end of the tunnel? No chance!! I am told after the usual wait on the telephone line that my results may take up to 10 weeks to arrive? Am I just stupid for thinking after the pain and distress since August and the on going pain that I am suffering is ok? There needs to be a serious overhaul of how appointment are handled for those with needs
