"Incredible birth experience - thank you Royal Free"

We have not long returned home after giving birth to our little girl, Margot at the Royal Free and can not be more grateful to the Maternity team at the Royal Free.

From the beginning our midwife was brilliant, taking time to answer all our questions and being a calming influence throughout. Even taking the time to pop up and see us on the labour ward after the birth to meet our little lady.

Our baby was breech so we had a planned c-section scheduled for 08.11.18. We went in in the morning and although the teams were dealing with several emergencies which resulted in us waiting until end of the day to go into theatre, the teams did their best to keep us updated.

The obstetrician who delivered our baby was wonderful, as were the team of anaesthetists and midwives in the theatre that day. Making the whole experience even more special.

We can not thank you all enough and feel so lucky to have been surrounded by so many kind and professional doctors and nurses.

All involved are an asset to the Royal Free and the NHS and we are eternally grateful.
