"De Parys Surgery has gone downhill"

About: De Parys Medical Centre

Phoning for a flu vaccine - couldn't get through to speak to anyone. Couldn't find anything about a flu jab clinic. I just have to hope that when I next go in, 22 Nov for a diabetes check up - I can get a jab then.

Since the new arrangements after the merger the service has gone downhill fast.

The reception staff are shirty and seldom seem to want customers - patients - to access anyone or any facilities

I am so sorry you could not find any information about the flu jabs - we will make sure there is easy to access information on the website next time.

We always offer the flu jab when you have a diabetic check up, so no need to make an extra appointment.

We have put more appointments on the online booking system and also increased the time period for booking so you can now book more than 10 days ahead - I sincerely hope this will make it easier for you to book an appointment now.

We are asking our Patient Group to monitor patient feedback with this regard.

We are also in the process of purchasing a new phone system, which again will improve access via the phone.

Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience you have experienced.

Carolyn Boyd

Practice Manager
