I had lost my mum and my dad had always been a problem. He is a very domineering man and was now bossing me around but in a very nasty way. I had also been very ill with breast cancer and my husband had a heart attack and surgery. I had a sister but she left the family after a fight with my parents, and left my nephew with us.
This was not a problem because we have always been very close and we get on very well, he has a super family and has made me very proud. I just could not cope and felt very sad. I got in touch with Inclusion Thurrock and saw a very nice man called Ian who helped me see how I could work with my father and not let him rule my life and stop his bullying.
After my first session I felt like a weight had been lifted and then I had a few more and felt like I could cope again.
"Feeling I could not cope."
