"Best GP practice I’ve ever had!"

I have been a patient of Poplars surgery for one year now, unfortunately I have had to visit the surgery regularly recently due to poor mental health. I have been seeing one particular doctor for a few months now and must say how fantastic he is! I feel that I can tell him anything, he is friendly, welcoming and his smile which greets you puts you at rest immediately. I have been through some very tough times but feel like I am coming through the other side and I have this doctor to thank for that. He never rushes you, listens to what you have to say and is just such an amazing GP. The surgery as a whole is great, my son sees the asthma specialist who is equally brilliant too! He suffered with asthma for 3 yrs, our previous dr kept putting him on steroids unnecessarily and we knew nothing about an asthma nurse. First visit to see one of the doctors about my sons asthma and we was referred straight to the specialist, now his asthma is managed! Office staff are great too, telephone manner is friendly and it’s the same at the desk. It’s difficult to find a really good GP practice, now I have, I’m not leaving!! Thank you Poplars Surgery!
