"Orthopedic Clinic"

About: Guy's Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics University Hospital Lewisham / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I have a problem with my knee from about 6 years. Last 2 years because of that most the time I was in the bed. I was asking my GP to help me to get an appointment in Guy's Hospital, but they 2 times put me in Lewisham. I was asking doctors to help me, give me injection and took liquid from my knee. Finally because of pain I stopped to go to College. Doctors ask me to eat pain killer tablets. I am 54 years old and in this age this is not good decision. Finally I get an appointment in Guy's but they want to west my time and ask me for new MRI scan. I gave them 2 MRI.

Finally I went abroad for  isotopic synovectomy. After 3 days my pain was finish. Now because I do not get proper help I will need to travel abroad in December, January and April and October. I will vest my time and money.

Because Lewisham Hospital do not help me more 1 year I had infection in my Knee and it affected it
