My daughter recently lost her baby at nearly 24 weeks pregnant after a difficult few weeks. The care she received on the delivery unit before, during and after the birth and the respect given to her little daughter, who was stillborn, was excellent and this terrible time was made so much more bearable due to the wonderful staff in which I include doctors, midwives, sonographers, clerical and housekeeping staff and the hospital chaplaincy. The fact that we never felt rushed, were fully informed and looked after with such kindness and empathy meant the world to us and we will be forever grateful.
