I am 28 weeks pregnant with my first baby after 7 years of trying, I am normally the last person to complain but this time I would like to share my feeling after my last appointment. until that I've always had a good experience in Wexham Hospital, reception lady is always lovely and friendly, the nurses are nice and helpful, in general my feelings after my visits were very positive. until my yesterday's visit I had a 28 weeks scan which shown too much fluid around the baby, which obviously made me worry .... the lady doing the scan was very nice and explained that this can still go back to normal level and she said she will put this in the report for the consultant to view, after that I've waited for the consultation. so this is where my feelings started to change... the lady was very plain with emotions she did not make me feeling very welcome, she looked like she couldn't be bothered with any explanation, why this is like that, how this will affect me and the Baby what are the complications. I didn't feel like I can ask her about anything as she looked not interested . I just needed little care and interest as I was worried. and I left feeling unsure. they have booked me another scan in 2 weeks time to check whether this fluid will go down to normal limit, so I am hoping that this will go back to normal level . and I am glad and thankful that they keep an eye on this but honestly this last lady could be more people friendly person. and be more sympathetic when needed.
