About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I visited the outpatient department yesterday to meet a consultant to discuss my injured shoulder. The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. I met a very efficient receptionist who booked me in advised me where to sit etc. The assessment of my injury was very very thorough including an x-ray there and then. My options were very clearly explained and what the prognosis is likely to be. The doctors were very very helpful, easy to understand and eager to listen to all my questions.
