I am scared to be identified in this review, as I will be punished by the surgery. I access the service by telephone.
I know the voice of the person (receptionist) who repeatedly displays an unfriendly tone of voice, a tendency to suggest I am being a nuisance, and makes me feel that everything I request is fraudulent in some way. I dread hearing that voice. The person in question is pedantic, everything is too much trouble for them, and do I really need to be phoning? This person stays just on the right side of stopping me making a complaint. Recently this person gave me the runaround about arranging hospital transport, and was unhelpful when l needed a home medicine delivery. I would just like a more empathetic service not a stress inducing experience. I never ever telephone unless I am in need of medical help. I am never abusive or aggressive. I do question answers that either I am puzzled by or do not understand.
Other members of the team of receptionists have been fine with me. I must have upset this person in some way that I am not aware of. If I have then I am sorry.
I have thought about changing doctors because of this person.
