I went into Cheltenham General on 11th October for a total knee replacement, firstly had to wait in Hazleton for my surgery, unfortunately I was last on the list, (someone has to be) but the staff were really kind and thoughtful as with no food and only water sips it was a very long day, but with the help of staff and the very nice atmosphere it all helped.
At 4.45
I was taken to theatre where again I found the staff lovely and very caring, with the nurse and aneathatists being the same, before & after my operation.
I was then taken to Dixton where the excellent care continued until I was discharged, it was an extremely well organised and happy ward, I couldn’t thank them enough for the care I received, also I thought the food was really good too, a real bonus.
Well done to all at Cheltenham General.
