"Broken arm"

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital / Accident and emergency

I wanted to write a review to express my thanks to all the staff within the NHS.

My son (9 years old) came into hospital with 2 broken bones in his arm and a fractured elbow.

Every single member of staff that we spoke to or helped us were more than helpful. After an over night stay and an operation we were able to come home. The staff couldn't do enough to help and made my son calm , smile and content whilst in hospital

Thank you

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your recent visit to the Emergency Department at Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital with your son after he broke his arm and fractured his elbow.

It is lovely to receive such positive feedback regarding the care and service your son received during his stay when he needed an operation and we are delighted to pass this on to the staff who will very much appreciate your comments as they always strive to deliver safe, personal & effective care.

If you would like to provide us with further information about your experience then we would really value this so that we can try to make it like this for every patient visiting our hospitals and using our services.

You can either contact me (Sarah Ridehalgh) on 01254 734471 or by email at patientexperience@elht.nhs.uk.

Thank you again for commenting and best wishes.
