"Failure of treatment."

About: Regent Street Surgery

I saw a doctor on Friday 1st December before setting off on a trip to Australia on 3rd December, and asked if they could help me with my bad cough. They listened to my chest back and front and said nothing. No consideration was given to the fact that I have been a cancer patient or that I had a very long flight ahead of me.

I coughed all the way on the plane, all 20 hours of the journey and now, 3 days into my stay I am still coughing and today have been feeling poorly. I am going to have to visit a doctor here, not a very pleasant experience, and hope that they can give me some help.

I get the distinct impression that treatment is withheld from us patients these days to save money which is a very poor way to treat anyone.
