My little grandson was born through a c-section this week, my daughter in law and my son have told me how wonderful their care has been without exception at Barnsley Maternity Hospital. He said that the surgeons were wonderful and that even pediatric specialists were in the Theatre as well, just in case baby had difficulties breathing. I am truly amazed at how well they were looked after, and the careful planning that went into this. A Huge Thank you from a grateful Nanna.
Also once in the ward, I would like to thank the nurses who were so caring and explained things to the new parents so well. Nothing was a problem to them, everyone came into to see them with a happy and kind smile.
Thank you for providing us with a wonderful National Health Service. I am truly amazed at just how lucky we are.
