"Always running late"

About: The Royal London Hospital / Ophthalmology

I have attended the the Ophthamology appointment on three different occasions after being refered by my GP. I was given a appointment date and time.

All three occasions I arrived on time however I was not seen by a consultant until after 2 hours .

I'm told each time the clinic is running late. My last appointment was at 10.40 so i don't understand how the clinic could be running so behind.

I was then told I had to retake some photos of my eyes which I had done at a previous appointment because they couldn't find it on their system. I ended up being at the hospital till 3.00.

An appointment which shouldve taken maximum 30 mins ended up taking up half my day.
