"Hospital stay following hip surgery"

I would like to thanks ALL the staff on Dickens ward for a very wonderful hospital experience. I was admitted Friday morning and discharged late on Saturday evening. I spent 2 full days and 1 night in hospital following surgery to my R hip. ALL the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was lovely to see smiling happy faces and they appeared happy in their jobs working as a team. I was seen by my Consultant pre op and by the ward Doctor post op. The day staff and night staff were professional and I felt safe and cared for. The catering was well organised and I felt like I was constantly being fed or offered coffee and biscuits. The cleaning staff were well organised. I would also like to thank the theatre and recovery nurses as even though I can’t remember you all I was with you for sometime following my surgery!

I have always found staff at Ashford Hospital to be very accommodating and helpful. Thank you.
