"Emergency hospitalisation for pneumonia"

About: Lincoln County Hospital

Sept 22nd my wife came home to find me suffering with 'extreme delusions' called 999 to have me admitted to Lincoln hospital

I have no personal knowledge of what happened until Wednesday 26th am

I understand from my wife the staff in A&E did many tests before I was sent to the admissions ward where the treatment continued

IDue to my delusional state I was a very difficult patient however the perseverance of the staff and consultants led to a a diagnosis of pneumonia from which I am still recovering

The care I received was excellent, I observed just how busy a hospital ward can be the demands on the staff are great and I must say most of them were able to maintain a very pleasant and positive attitude for which I am very grateful

Please pass on my deep gratitude for all the tremendous care, reassurance, kindness and compassion, during my stay.

Thank you all so much

God bless

Peter

Dear Peter

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback which I will share with the A&E team and admissions ward at Lincoln. I can't imagine how your wife must have felt when she found you, it must have been a really scary for you both.

Its good to hear that you are now well and we all send our best wishes to you both

Kindest regards
