I gave birth to my baby girl nearly three weeks ago. I went into premature labour spontaneously and had c-section (due to other complications).
The labour ward and theatre team made me feel at ease and reassured me every step of the way. Additionally, holistic clinic midwife helped me deal with contraction pain and eased my anxiety while waiting to go to the operating theatre.
Since my baby required to stay in NNU for a few days I had very frequent contact with the neonatal team and they have truly made this stressful time so much more manageable.
The in-patient ward team have shown true care and understanding towards me and ensured that the week spent in AMU was about getting to know my baby and recovering following the operation.
I felt truly important to the hospital team and so I would like to say a heartfelt 'Thank you' to everyone involved in looking after me antenatally, intra- and postpartum.
"The team have shown true care and understanding"
