"I actually can’t believe I’ve been done with relief"

After a 20 day battle 6 visits to another towns A& E I rang rheumatology to explain I’d been on 2 doses of antibiotics and steroids and was seriously getting worse I went yesterday met by nurse Rachel who then said Dr S was seeing me next ive never met this doctor but wow talk about help

He assessed my elbow and finger both double in size and arranged a scan for today as promised I went himself and another doctor did scan and found flare ups of swelling and decided to take fluid from my elbow (really it doesn’t hurt ) and then gave me a steroid injection in my finger.

Now after suffering around 20 days in total pain one Rachel was so great in communication just in general nice kind caring all round and I actually can’t believe I’ve been done with relief and I will now find out what is causing these major flare ups Dr S is superb talked me through everything and went above and beyond to help I’m so so grateful for meeting these 2 staff members thankyou so much kind regards
