"From anxiety to serenity - Thank you"

I had an issue with regards to my ongoing rhinitis recently. As you know we've had a very hot summer. Unfortunately my symptoms of this condition seemed to get worse even though summer had passed because I was using Nasonex for rhinitis more frequently in the day to alleviate my suffering. i just didn't know what to do. Fortunately one particular doctor (female), who I believe has recently joined the Downing Drive Surgery, was on hand. I got a call from her, out of the blue, because she must have screened and monitored the amount of repeat prescriptions I was going through for Nasonex. We had a chat and she immediately knew that I was panicking and anxious about not being able to reduce the usage for Nasonex. She was concerned because the usage of it was at an amount that was not acceptable because it is steroid based. After briefly counselling me in a humane and caring way she was able to convince me to try an alternative form of medication. Bearing in mind the need for the counselling was simply put that I've had this rhinitis for over 25 years and having tried all the various medications over the years (oral and nasal sprays) the only one that worked has been Nasonex nasal spray. It really had an impact consequently I was in a quagmire. No longer it seemed what was working was no longer working. This doctor convinced me to try Cetrizine; taking it with

Nasonex but gradually weaning away from the latter. It worked down to a tee !

If there was a star rating available just for the actual GP consultation then not only would I give it a 5 star rating but I would put it at the pinnacle. This is what it's all about. Thnx Doc , you're a heavenly star, all 5 rolled into one !!
