"My Care"

From being admitted to the day ward, theatre, recovery room and extended stay ward I was treated with respect, dignity, kindness, care, and compassion. I cannot praise the staff enough. I was kept informed about my treatment at all times. I would like to name the staff but

I know that it is not allowed. My surgeon's team were fantastic, including the anaesthetist and theatre team. The recovery staff were very attentive and relieved my pain as soon as possible. I was greeted with a wonderful cup of tea and refreshment on the extended stay ward. The staff were very thoughtful and funny. Not forgetting the day ward. They were lovely too. The nurse who had been there for 44 years was brilliant!

My consultant came to see me twice. I am so grateful and now at home recovering every day.
