We want to say a massive thank you to all the ENT team involved in handling our 17 year old daughters case. From the outset they put every effort into managing her issues and put her at ease. It was the first time she had ever been admitted to hospital and had to undergo a local procedure and then a general. She was very overwhelmed by it all and everyone took the time and care to put her (and us) at ease with each stage of the process.
Our daughter is now out of the woods thank goodness (just now needing some follow up in outpatients) and they have done a great job in saving her ear in surgery.
As she is our only child (and most precious thing in our lives) we cant express enough how much we appreciate what a great job they've done looking after her (and us) so well. Whilst at times, we felt we were waiting around throughout the various stages of her inpatient treatment, we could understand why. The department was under immense pressure having to react and squeeze in emergencies, constantly having to reprioritise).
A true credit to the NHS!!
