"Memory Test at Home"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Care of older people

(as the patient),

I had a visit from the Kilmarnock North West Comnunity Mental Health service.  I had been feeling nervous about it but Karen who came had a really relaxed attitude which put me at my ease.  She was really reassuring and cheerful and it went well.

It was quite worrying as it was a test to see about my memory.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear dracomf36,

yes, I can understand how this could have been a bit worrying for you. It is good to hear that you found Karen's way to be relaxed and that she put you at ease. A cheery smile helps enormously too.

I will pass this on to Karen. I am sure she will be delighted that you took the time to share this on Care Opinion and I hope the result of this test is helpful and reassuring.

Best wishes,

Eunice
