"1st time in hospital"

About: Clatterbridge Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

I very recently had a knee replacement at Clatterbridge Hospital. This was my first stay in hospital. From the moment I arrived to book in I was looked after. Lovely staff to help me and explain what was going to happen, so friendly and reassuring. The Anaesthetist came to see me to give me choices, he was so easy to to talk to. The theatre sisters chatted to me explaining what they were doing, all the time being so friendly. When I was back in Ward M2 I was brought tea and toast. So very much enjoyed and appreciated. I was cared for by staff who couldn't do enough for me.The meals were lovely, lots of choice.

The physios got me up walking the same day! Amazing . I went home 2 days after having my operation. I honestly could have stayed longer! What an amazing hospital, quiet, relaxed and 5 star staff. Thank you all so much.

We are extremely grateful that you have taken the time to provide this lovely feedback. Our staff work hard to try to ensure that a patient’s experience while at the hospital is as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and they are always considerably heartened and motivated on learning how much their efforts have been appreciated. We have passed your kind comments to our Orthopaedic Team.
