I went to the Memory Assessment Service in Bridgwater accompanied by my friend. We both thought it was a brilliant place.
When your memory starts failing you do feel rather adrift and start to lose confidence. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel very welcome and worthy of being there.
The assessment itself was more like having a chat with friends, the young lady understood my problems without judging me, she was patient and fun, I was not rushed and the whole time was filled with laughter.
My friend commented on how impressed he was with the Assessment unit, how polite and welcoming everyone was and whilst being relaxed it was also efficiently run.
