I was admitted to the CAU in the University Hospital Ayr with very high calcium levels and a UTI that was making me delirious. I was later moved to Station 15.
Both CAU and station 15 are run very efficiently, I felt safe and well looked after.
From the house keepers to the nurses, the phlebotomists who came to take blood, to Dr Sword and the first year doctor Sophie, all of them were extremely caring and knowledgeable. I cannot thank them all enough for the kindness and care.
Things are not looking grand for me but this stay has given me peace of mind that if I need to go to hospital again I will be in a very safe, caring place.
