"Low clearance clinic"

About: The Royal Liverpool University Hospital / Nephrology

Am a regular visitor to the various renal depts. at Rluh, have always been treated very well and would normally recommend very highly.

I deeply regret to say that the low clearance clinic does not show the same level of compassion or professionalism as the other clinics/wards.

The clinic is a soul destroying place to find yourself in, the receptionists and nursing staff are great but the problem, in my view starts with the consultants, some of whom have a very poor attitude towards patients who are trying to keep fit and well. I will not name any particular members of staff, but I am certain that the staff on this clinic know who I am referring to.

It is a well known fact that the Royal hospital is in a poor state of repair, and the new hospital cannot arrive soon enough.

I can only hope that when the new hospital is completed some new staff who have some compassion and sensitivity towards their patients are employed there
