"Information in reception area"

About: Springfield University Hospital (London)

(as a service user),

I had an appointment at Harwood last week, first the reception staff were just not very welcoming. Be hard to get a smile or a good morning from them, just ask you to sit down and don't give you an update about your appointment even when you ask after 20 minutes.

The actual waiting area is dreadful, it's very dreary with no actually information about any illnesses or support available. I don't actually want to look at information about the top people in the trust - what do they do for me. I also don't want to look at team statistics - how does that help me.

It would be nice if I could see things like who my team consist of, what other services are out there to support me, information on my diagnosis.
