"Accident and Emergency"

About: University Hospital Aintree / Accident and emergency

Have just arrived at A+E with excruciating headaches. Was treated politely when getting booked in by reception staff but then it went downhill. When I was called by Triage to be "assessed" I was absolutely disgusted by the way I was spoken to and treated by the triage nurse. She started by asking why I was there then when I started explaining about the headaches and how they are becoming more frequent and excruciating I was told that this is an issue that should be dealt with by my GP. When I told her I visited GP last week and was disgusted by my treatment she then said that A+E isn't for this and people like me are the reason that the department is clogged up... I was so offended and taken aback that I couldn't respond.. I have paid all my taxes and NI contributions since I left school and I am not one for going to the doctors or hospital(typical man).. So you can see why I'm disgusted with the initial care I received
