Every little while I have been seeing Kevin for physiotherapy treatment on my legs and back. I find Kevin very thoughtful, very professional, he lets you talk, listens attentively and gives advice. He has been very caring.
What I particularly liked about Kevin is the way he immediately put me at my ease.
Kevin gave me exercises to do between the appointments, which I have been doing. However, my not wanting to use a stick was a hurdle. Kevin advised me that it would help me greatly but did not push me into using a stick at any time. My barrier was that I had tried using a stick in the past and had never got on with using it in a way that felt natural and comfortable. Kevin very patiently tried different walking frames on me until I was ready to give it another go with a stick. Well, I could not get on with it until he advised me not to think about it, just to walk. Don't think, just walk. Within seconds I was using the stick with ease, I have not looked back since.
I have increased mobility and independence, thanks to Kevin.
