"Hernia Operation at the Homerton Day Surgery Unit"

I underwent a hernia operation at the Homerton Day Surgery Unit on Thursday this week. I found the staff at the unit to be very attentive, caring and professional.

The entire procedure was well explained to me and I was made to feel at ease ahead of the operation.

Afterwards, I was given sufficient time to recover and the Senior Nurse was particularly helpful and conscientious. She took the time to write down what I needed to do over the next few days to ensure my recovery. She also explained this to my wife before we left.
