God Bless All The Lovely Staff at Broadmoor...

BUT

Following an episode of seclusion, at times I found that staff were not always responsive to my needs and sometimes seclusion can affect my mental health.

I agree with "To Be Healthy our minds need constant stimulation" Radio 4 (All in the Mind') and so seclusion is difficult with nothing in your cell to do.

On the plus side Broadmoor is getting more and more lovely staff who care and genuinely want to help.”

Dear aurigazc45

Many thanks for your posting. I apologize if you did not feel staff were responsive to your needs – I would like to meet up with you so I can understand exactly what the issue was and how we can work with the team to improve this in the future.

I certainly agree with your sentiments regarding stimulation for the mind but I also think at times reducing stimulation can also have many benefits.

Thank you for the positive comments in relation to caring staff who genuinely want to help – this is also important to feedback to staff so they can build upon the things that work well.

I look forward to meeting with you and hopefully we can discuss all the points you raised.
