"Minor injury"

About: Cannock Chase Hospital

Visited the minor injury unit last week following a fall. Possible fracture of upper arm as I have osteoporosis. Initially seen very quickly by a nursing sister who was lovely and said I needed an X-ray BUT they couldn’t do it there!! (Even though there is an X-Ray department). I then had to go to Lichfield minor injuries unit where I was then at the back of the queue even though I told them I had been to Cannock. Why oh why couldn’t I be X-rayed in Cannock?

I wasn’t the only one that day who needed an X-ray.... there were at least 3 others in Lichfield who had been sent from Cannock.
