(as the patient),

Two weeks ago I had an appointment for electric shock treatment for atrial fibrillation, needless to say I was very apprehensive about the treatment.

However, I'd like everyone to know about the excellent care and consideration shown by Nurse Julie and all the staff. if there are people reading this who are about to have this treatment, take it from me there is nothing to worry about. All the staff put me at my ease and even laughed at my jokes which did wonders for my morale. I cannot say enough about the kindness and care I experienced.

Thanks for your lovely message which is very much appreciated by all the staff here in Cardiology but will be very much appreciated by our future patients, too. Your reassurance, having gone through the procedure yourself, is really helpful. I am so glad your experience was a positive one. I hope you continue to enjoy the benefits of your cardioversion in the future.

As for your jokes, in my experience Julie & Co have high standards so you must have brought a bit of comedy genius with you that day. It sounds as though it was fun all round!
