"7 days thought I had a brain tumour"

About: Denton Medical Practice

Some of the GPs are very proffessional, but a doctor whom I have never seen rang me at 4.30 on Fri and told me I had a brain nodule ( googled brain tumour) and he was urgently referring me to Salford Royal. As I was waiting for MRI scan I presumd he had recieved the results. This caused unamaginable disstress I had to tell all my young family and was left with this over the weekend on Monday my wife started to ring Salford for information on how long the appointment would take they did not know what I was talking about it took until Friday

(7 days) to be contacted by my GP who told me I do not have a brain nodule and he had read the wrong scan by mistake

Yes it was a relief to have no nodule but to be put threw that situation is digusting my consultant said this information should have not been given over the phone.

I no longer have any faith or trust in this surgery so am now registering elsewhere
