Had to have a DC cardioversion procedure done at Eastbourne District General Hospital recently, I would really impressed with the staff that were doing the procedure - all the nurses involved on the day were kind, understanding and above all else gave off the vibe that they really did care about you.
They fully explained what the procedure entailed and gave you the option to not go ahead so there was no pressure, and was always given reassurance that they wouldn't go ahead if you didn't want to. After the procedure the nurses still kept the same level of care and made sure you were absolutely able to leave - they showed that they regarded your health when you were due to be discharged was more important then getting you out the door which was great.
Hopefully I don't need to have another Cardioversion but if I did, I would willingly have it done at Eastbourne again.
The nurses do an amazing job for the procedure, keep up the good work and thank you for a pleasant experience.
"Cardioversion team were amazing."
