"My stay at Tameside Hospital and Aftercare"

About: Tameside General Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I snapped my quad tendon and fractured my kneecap back in June 2018.   I had to stay in Tameside Hospital and have an operation.   I must say that the care I received was second to none.   The nurses were fantastic and looked after me with the upmost care and respect.   I then had to have follow up appointments with Dr Chipukter (not sure of the spelling) and he was outstanding.   I feel that the hospital (both Nurses and Dr's) don't get the recognition they deserve as everything was done to make me feel as comfortable as I could be during what was a traumatic time for me.   Thank you to all the staff at Tameside!   I have now been discharged and go to physiotherapy once a fortnight.
