"Recent local birth"

About: Mid Argyll Community Hospital and Integrated Care / Maternity/Midwifery

(as the patient),

I gave birth at lochgilphead midwife lead maternity unit a couple of weeks ago and have to say that the experience was amazing and so were the midwives, especially the care I received for the 9 months leading up to the birth by my named midwife Brenda, she made me feel so relaxed and supported the whole time and I could approach her for anything. The birthing unit is so relaxing and calm and made my second birth so different to the first time, I felt that I had complete one on one care as opposed to the experience with city hospital. I couldn't recommend a local birth enough and keep encouraging my pregnant friends to stay here for their birth.

I genuinely feel sad that my journey with the girls is over.

Dear IE2018

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your very positive feedback about the care and support you received from midwives in Mid Argyll.

I will make sure that Brenda and other midwives are made aware of your posting and how much you valued their support.

Wishing you, your baby and family well for the future.

Kind regards

Fiona
