"Newborn, waiting times!"

About: Warrington Hospital

i has taken my newborn son to Warrington hospital with a suspected infection at 8 o’clock in the afternoon as we were transferred there from Halton and the first time anyone come round to check him out properly was at 3 o’clock in the morning an then we were told at 4 in the morning that there was nothing wrong with him and to go home and had to drive back to runcorn at that time in the morning after waiting so long to be seen , While the baby slept I had to sleep on the floor as I was exhausted and we had been forgotten about it was honestly the worst experience of my life and has totally put me off hospitals

Hello,

Firstly, we are sorry about the delay in responding to your feedback, we have been experiencing problems connecting to the account.

Secondly, we are sorry to read about the experience of your newborn son. We would ask that you contact our PALS Team, who will provide independent advice and discuss with the ward and help shape future care. We can only improve care with your feedback.

You can contact the team on 01925 275512 or email: WHH.PALS@nhs.net

Regards

The Communications Team
